- Second place: Hannah Gordon, “The Case for Abolishing the Death Penalty”
- Third place: Justis Brown, “Let Syrian Refugees Come: A Sponsorship Policy Proposal”
- Fourth place: John Borger, “Morality Without Religion”
The first, second, and third place winners receive $500, $250, and $100 scholarships, respectively. The fourth place winner receives a Liberty Fund edition of The Federalist papers.
We would like to thank MVHS economics teacher Janine Casavant, Ethics & Economics Challenge instructor Gardner Goldsmith, and the donors who made this program possible, especially Tiina Urv. See you next year!
